Vintage 1930s Anchor Hocking Uranium Glass “SUGAR” Canister with Original Lid
Add a beautiful piece of Depression-era kitchenware to your collection with this vintage 1930s Anchor Hocking “SUGAR” canister. Crafted from vibrant green uranium glass, this rectangular canister features the classic ribbed/paneled design often associated with Hoosier cabinet storage jars. Under UV/black light, the glass glows brilliantly, making it highly desirable among uranium glass and Depression glass collectors.
This canister retains its original glass lid and still displays the original “SUGAR” label on the front. The canister measures approximately 8½ inches tall and 4 inches wide.
Condition:
- No cracks noted to the canister body
- Original “SUGAR” sticker is present but shows peeling and wear due to age
- Lid has a chip, as shown in the photos
- Expected minor wear consistent with age and use
- Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description
A wonderful addition to any uranium glass, Depression glass, Hoosier cabinet, or vintage kitchen collection.
